Meet Your Instructor

Dwan Milam-Reed, Ph.D, LCSW-S, LICSW

Dwan Reed is a certified anxiety and trauma therapist, relationship expert, and has over 20 years of experience. She offers individual, couple, group, and family therapy, and is certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) trauma therapy. Dwan conducts self-esteem and boundaries groups, and is CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) certified. She is also a certified facilitator for Prepare/Enrich (marital & premarital) and helps couples resolve conflicts and achieve their desired relationship outcomes.

Dwan practices from a Christian framework, is happily married, and a mother of two young adults, a son-in-law, and daughter-in-law to be. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Work, a Texas LCSW Board-approved supervisor, and the founder of "Fierce Self-Esteem" course designed to help individuals love and live their true selves.
